Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 7–9 Years

About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in JavaScript and Playwright to join our growing quality engineering team. This role requires a proactive individual who can design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI and API testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Perform cross-browser testing and ensure application stability
• Identify, track, and report defects effectively using test management / bug tracking tools
• Continuously improve test coverage, execution time, and framework efficiency
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to automation best practices
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript
• Proven experience in Playwright automation framework

Get Hired
• Experience with API testing (REST APIs, tools like Postman/RestAssured equivalent in JS)
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Good analytical and debugging skills
  

Good to Have

• Experience with performance or security testing basics
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, etc.)
  

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
