Lead / Senior Data Analyst [Immediate Joiner]

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Driving Roadmap through Data Analysis: Act as a bridge between product, engineering, and data consumers. Analyze data, identify gaps, and proactively contribute to shaping the product roadmap.
2. Issue Resolution and Root Cause Analysis: Support and troubleshoot data and process-related issues, diligently identifying root causes and recommending sustainable corrective actions in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.
3. Effective Communication of Insights: Translate complex data into meaningful and actionable insights. Present findings to stakeholders and non-technical audience in a clear and compelling manner.
4. Technical Specifications: Create and maintain technical specifications detailing data movement, transformation, and quality checks to ensure smooth data operations.

What You Bring:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or other quantitative disciplines, or a related field.
• Relevant Experience: 3-7 years of hands-on analytical experience translating data analysis into strategic requirements. Experience working collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and data scientists.
• Data Proficiency: Strong ability to conduct data analysis, develop and test hypotheses, and derive insights with minimal supervision.
• KPI Definition: Proven experience in identifying and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) using data in areas such as Sales, Consumer Behavior, Supply Chain, etc.
• SQL Mastery: Exceptional SQL skills are a must. Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex datasets.
• Visualization Tools: Experience with modern visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc., to present data in an engaging and insightful manner.

  Data Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with open-source, big data, and cloud infrastructure technologies, including AWS, Hive, Snowflake, Presto, etc.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a structured problem-solving approach.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Agile Development: Experience with agile development methodologies, enabling flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Retail/E-commerce Domain: While not required, experience within the retail or e-commerce domains will be a definite plus.
