Manager / Asst Manager
- Indirect Taxation
- We are looking for a passionate Indirect Tax Manager to join our rapidly growing team.
- We are looking for someone who can thrive on deadlines, apply tax experience to a wide variety of transactions and make significant contributions towards Company's strategic objectives.- This role will involve tax compliance as well as tax research, analysis and documentation.
- You will utilize a variety of skills to solve problems relating to Indirect tax planning and compliance, and GST accounting.- You are a continuous learner with a growth mind-set.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment where decisions need to be made and executed upon super-fast.
- You can translate your technical skills and understanding of the context around you into clear and pragmatic solutions for the organization.Timely filing of following returns & remittances :- Preparing and filing of periodical GST Returns including Annual Returns of various entities.- Preparation and filing replies to Show Cause Notice, preparation and filing of Appeals against orders passed by Central Excise & GST authorities at various appellate authority- Calculation of GST tax liabilities and payment of the same of various entities- Handling of appeals and representation before appellate Authorities- Knowledge of claim procedure for Refund- Central Excise, Service Tax & GST registrations.- Central Excise, Service Tax & GST Audits.- Monitoring and implementation of various law amendments.- Reconciliation of accounts.- Review and availment of Input Tax Credit under GST Act.- Statutory Audits.Desired Candidate Profile :- CA with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience with relevant experience in Indirect Taxation, GST- Candidates from Big 4 handling large manufacturing cos / MNC with multiple locational networks are preferred- Hands on experience in Tally and MS Office mandatory- Excellent inter personal relationship skills- Excellent communication skills- Candidates willing to relocate to Chennai may only apply.- Candidates from Chennai / TN /South preferred.
