Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Manager - MERN Stack to bridge the gap between technical execution and project delivery. This role requires deep expertise in MERN stack development, AWS serverless architecture, and proven ability to lead, manage, and mentor multiple development teams. The Technical Manager will be responsible for technical direction, quality assurance, project planning, and continuous stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Drive the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge web and mobile solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on best practices, emerging tools, and modern frameworks.
• Design and implement scalable backend systems using AWS Serverless,EC2, ECS with Node.js.
• Ensure solutions are architected for performance, security, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Define and implement deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.

Team & Project Management

Manage team and ensure task delivery as per timelines.

• Create proper project story, tasks, and subtasks planning and define delivery timelines along with the team.
• Ensure best practices for documentation (technical specs, architecture diagrams) and provide clear, consistent status updates to management.
• Keep the team engaged and active with best practices, knowledge sharing, and ensuring work visibility.
• Manage codebase health and drive adherence to coding standards, design principles, and agile practices.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Interact closely with the Client and Project Management teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and project scope.

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external communication regarding project progress, risks, and challenges.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI) to deliver user-focused solutions.

People Management & Development

Serve as a mentor and coach for developers and team leads, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Core Expertise & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 6+ years in Full stack application development with 2+ years in a lead or managerial capacity.
• Core Technical: Strong backend background with proven expertise in MERN stack and AWS serverless architecture with Node.js.
• Frontend: Experience with React / PWA for development.
• Frameworks: Proficiency in modern frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, NextJS.
• System Design: Strong system design and architectural skills with an ability to build highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant services.
• AI/ML Focus: Experience in AI Solution Architecting, specifically in designing, planning, and overseeing the integration of AI/ML into scalable production applications.
• Soft Skills: Strong mentoring, leadership, project planning, and team collaboration capabilities.
