IT Security Engineer

Position Overview

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai is hiring an experienced IT Security Engineer to manage and enhance its cybersecurity infrastructure. The role includes working with firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, SIEM tools, malware protection, and email security, while ensuring compliance with security standards and government requirements. The position requires expertise in incident response, penetration testing, audits, and implementing security frameworks to protect RTA s digital assets.

Core Duties

• 
  Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents with detailed root cause analysis
• Configure, deploy, and manage firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, and other security tools
• Implement and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures
• Conduct penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and provide recommendations
• Lead cyber incident investigations and apply lessons learned to improve resilience
