The Senior Accountant

The Senio Accountant ensures effective management by providing support and assistance to the business and key stakeholders, where required, and supports the Finance Director and team (MENA) in accordance with the finance & accounts policies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Be proactive with sub-consultants to ensure contract compliance, generation of progress, schedules, daily and other status reports, invoices and supporting documents in a timely manner
• Raising of sales invoices & credit notes to Clients – back up to Commercial Manager
• Preparation of reconciliation to bank statements for submission to the Commercial Manager
• Monitoring & Documentation of debtors’ outstanding amounts
• Assist with the monthly reporting across the portfolio
• Participate in the company annual audit and make sure the business is compliant
• Assist with monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet items and preparing supporting schedules
• Develop and maintain systems and processes for contract administration and reporting and ensure issues reported on are actioned appropriately.

Suitable applicants will have:

• Preferably CA/CPA with 5-7 years’ experience
• Availability to work on an initial 12 month FTC
• Experience working in a fast-paced project environment
• Experience liaising and working with internal & external stakeholders
• Ability to analyse and communicate financial reporting information.
• Computer literacy - with a sound knowledge of excel based software and other MS office tools.
