Job Description
Robert Half Marketing and Creative has a client that is looking for a creative and technically skilled Graphic Designer - Web Developer to help with a 9-month project. This hybrid role requires expertise in both design and front-end development, with a strong focus on WordPress and brand identity. As part of a long-term contract position, you will contribute to building visually compelling, user-friendly websites that align with our brand objectives while collaborating with a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Bootstrap or React.
Design, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet project specifications.
Create brand guidelines, marketing materials, and design assets to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
Translate wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences.
Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and enhanced user engagement.
Regularly update and maintain websites, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement improvements based on feedback.
Ensure all designs and code align with responsive design principles and mobile-first standards.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma to produce high-quality visual elements for digital media.Robe
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in a Designer Developer role with a portfolio showcasing both design and development work.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WordPress development.

Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques and best practices.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
