Job Description
We are looking for an accomplished insurance expert to take on a leadership role within a growing, multi-line independent agency. This position offers the chance to drive strategic initiatives, foster revenue growth, and lead a high-performing team. Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and operational efficiency.
Create and implement strategic plans aimed at expanding markets, diversifying product offerings, and driving overall growth.
Lead sales initiatives by identifying prospects, preparing quotes, and closing new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral partners, and carrier representatives.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and oversee commission structures.
Drive client engagement through onboarding, training programs, and retention strategies.
Partner with executive leadership to develop marketing initiatives and strengthen the agencys brand presence.
Undertake regular travel, accounting for approximately 50% of the roles responsibilities.
Requirements
Proven track record of leadership experience in the insurance industry, ideally as an Agency Principal, Owner, or General Manager.
Active insurance licenses, including Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Surplus Lines.
Strong strategic thinking abilities paired with solid business acumen.
Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and team building.

Proficiency in agency management systems and related platforms.
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience managing a diverse portfolio across multiple insurance carriers.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum, coding, PMP certification, and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
