The Position
GFF Finance Enterprise Partner

Roche Finance has set exciting Finance Ambitions and an aspiration for the Future of Finance. With the White Paper, the implementation of the RAMP program, and the creation of the eCOE, a new finance ecosystem is emerging. As all parts of Finance are progressing on this journey, it is important that we aspire for Group Function Finance (GFF) to be fully embedded in this new ecosystem and take an active role in it, enabling the business to deliver on its mission and providing transparency. In this role, you will act as a key financial partner, navigating complex financial environments and driving strategic value across our network.
The Opportunity

• Strategic Partnership: Partner with the Head of RDT functions to influence and navigate toward strategic, operational, and financial ambitions, balancing tactical and strategic perspectives

• Business Case Co-Creation: Apply rigor and business acumen to co-create business cases, understanding underlying operational, strategic, and financial implications to enable transparency and organization-wide impact
• Financial Leadership & Storytelling: Provide financial leadership for cross-functional/multi-site projects and translate complex financial issues and data into actionable, clear business outcomes
• Stakeholder Management: Challenge and influence both finance and non-finance stakeholders, ensuring clear outcomes are defined and resources are allocated accordingly
• Network Collaboration: Collaborate within the Finance network (including eCoE, RSS, PT Finance, and R&D Finance) to share best practices, drive co-creation, and align on business value
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement that thrives on diversity & inclusion while striving for radical simplification across the finance ecosystem
  

Who You Are

• Professional Background: Holds a Bachelors or equivalent degree in Finance or Accounting (MA/MBA preferred) with 8+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering and robust core finance skills (technical, systems, processes, and concepts)
• Mindset & Leadership: Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, and the ability to lead from every seat, connecting dots, providing specialist expertise, breaking down silos, and role-modeling collaboration
• Change & Simplification Advocate: Possesses a passion for change, simplification, process improvement, and the resilience to adjust to fast-changing environments while applying VACC leadership principles
• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Highly fluent in English with excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to build trusting relationships and explain complex financial consequences clearly
• Strategic Judgment: Proven ability to understand business context, see through complexity to remove waste, and apply sound judgment toward prioritization and decision-making
