Job Summary:

Rockwoods is hiring a Lead Automation Performance Tester to spearhead testing initiatives for our client in Hyderabad. This onsite leadership role demands deep expertise in performance and automation testing across web and mobile platforms. Youll guide strategy, mentor team members, and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable systems using tools like JMeter, Placemeter, Selenium, and AI-driven testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of performance and load testing strategies using JMeter and Placemeter
• Architect and implement automation frameworks using Selenium, integrated with CI/CD pipelines
• Oversee functional, regression, and mobile testing efforts to ensure seamless user experience
• Leverage AI-based testing tools (e.g., AI redit) to enhance coverage and accuracy
• Analyze performance metrics, identify system bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and performance benchmarks
• Prepare and present detailed test reports and improvement plans to stakeholders
• Mentor junior testers and continuously evolve testing frameworks and methodologies

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in automation and performance testing
• Proven leadership in managing test teams and driving quality initiatives
• Strong expertise in JMeter and Placemeter for performance engineering
• Solid experience with Selenium for web automation
• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and methodologies
• Exposure to AI-based testing tools (AI redit or similar)
• Deep understanding of functional testing, defect tracking, and QA best practices
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD integration
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills
• Ability to lead independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
