Information Technology Lead

We are looking for an IT leader for Proximus Groups Global Competence Center (GCC) for IT development in Bangalore.

The GCC IT lead is responsible for the overall strategy and scaling of the IT function in the GCC. He/She is accountable for the achievement of roadmap delivery, service levels, performance, productivity and IT budget goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and steer ambitious ramp-up plan for the GCC IT teams (up to 50 FTEs per quarter), in close collaboration with stakeholders in Proximus Group.

• Build strategy and operating model for the IT function in the GCC to ensure it takes e2e ownership on design and delivery of digital solutions to execute Proximus Groups strategy.

• Ensure strong management team for the IT function in the GCC is in place, and serve as coach for the team

• Build strong relations with the internal customers of the GCC to align delivery roadmaps and capacity planning

• Provide vision and be responsible for the day-to-day operations, project delivery and (financial) governance of the IT function in the GCC, managing a budget of up to 20M$ per year

• Ensure adherence to company ethical codes of conduct and (IT) quality standards

• Manage local IT vendor relationships and service level agreements

• Develop innovation programs, notably in area of Cloud & AI

Qualifications

• Masters degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Or equivalent by experience

• Minimum of 10 years experience in a leadership role in a multinational organization

• Proven track record of successful digital & IT delivery and program management

• Excellent language skills in English, but oral as written

• Strong understanding of the latest digital innovation methodologies in software engineering, cloud and AI

• Strong business acumen and financial literacy and management

• Capable of handling multiples projects / initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion

• Experience is setting up GCC of building large teams from scratch is a plus

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
