Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in Motor and General Insurance to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, driving business process improvements, and delivering innovative insurance products and services. You will work closely with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, operations, product, and technology teams to support strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in motor and general insurance lines of business.
Collaborate with product owners, underwriters, claims managers, and technology teams to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze and map current and future state processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for IT and development teams.
Lead or support solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to support system implementations, enhancements, and testing (including UAT).
Develop business cases, process flows, and user stories to support project delivery.
Assist in regulatory and compliance reporting as related to general insurance products.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of delivered solutions against business objectives.Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on new systems or processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on motor and general insurance.
In-depth understanding of insurance products, policy lifecycle, underwriting, claims, and regulatory compliance.
Proven experience in business process modeling, gap analysis, and requirements management.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and other business analysis tools.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, or insurance-specific certifications) are a plus.

Preferred Experience:
Prior involvement in insurance system implementations or digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of local insurance regulations and market practices (depending on region).
Exposure to modern core insurance platforms or insurtech solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
