Data Transformation Analyst II

Position summary
S&P Global is seeking a highly motivated individual who is interested in joining the Bond Research Group and contributing to our coverage of the municipal bond market. Bond Research Group covers all municipal bond initiatives from initiation to completion on the primary market level. Analysts in the group have the opportunity to build relationships with the worlds largest underwriters, financial advisors and various buy-side and sell-side participants. There are opportunities to work with the business team to develop the future growth of the product as well as test and roll-out code changes with our developers.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Procure, analyse and process data required for primary market level.
• Critically analyse processes and find solutions to managing complex market information to ensure the timeliness and quality of data that our clients have grown to expect.
• Deliver excellent customer service to S&P’s clients and internally across the department.
• Provide insight into the world of municipal bonds and who possess the technical skills needed to the process.
• Update and process data onto the S&P’s database in a timely manner
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and product development and see those ideas through implementation
• Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
• The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Prioritize the requirements according to the timeline and specifications
  

Minimum Skills

• Working experience of 0-2 years in Municipal Bond Market.
• MBA specialized in Finance;
• Effective analytical and research skills
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerBI
• Commitment to enhancing and developing products
• Exceptional communication, presentation and networking skills
• The ability to be a Team Player, Driven, Flexible and Innovative
• The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
