About the Role:
09The Impact: Through this role, you will have a direct and substantial impact on growing our market presence and brand. You will be responsible for a flagship product with a large footprint across every client segment we serve. Your decisions will directly impact our client experience and the Market Intelligence financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Execute on Product Delivery: Partner with FIG stakeholders including technology, content, commercial and others, to execute on the overall product roadmap. Direct resources to build out product improvements that enhance the user experience. Drive best practices in product development ensuring all product owners, product managers etc. in your group are acting to the highest Build & Test standards.
- Product Adoption: Actively encourage adoption of solutions at existing clients. Work closely with Market Development and commercial team members to identify and target areas for expanded usage and opportunities to increase user footprint. Evaluate enhancement requests and prioritize as necessary to maintain/improve the existing user experience.
- Subject Matter Expert (Internal): Be the go-to expert for specific aspects of the FIG (Banking, insurance & real estate) Products, and related competitor and industry intelligence. Evangelize FIG and how it solves for workflows and ensure sales, relationship managers and marketing are clear how to position the offering across all client segments. Ensure other functions, e.g. Content, News etc. understand how they contribute to FIG and are aligned around the needs. Work with the Commercial Education team to provide insights and training to the commercial team to equip them to optimally position the product.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Act as FIG leader on relevant forums with other Agile Release Trains and business units to ensure the product is represented. Build strong internal partner relationships across functions (Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing, News, Product etc.) and drive collaboration and buy-in for your strategies. Work closely with other product management teams and champion a one team mentality.
- .Client Engagement: Meet regularly with clients and prospects to define needs, user profiles, and business requirements. Customize product roadmap messaging to the needs of the local market and present to clients as needed. Work with commercial team members on critical accounts or prospects.
Your Skills:
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience at financial institutions in a business, strategy, or analytical capacity OR at a third-party closely familiar with financial institutions (ie. consultant, vendor, fintech, etc.)
- Deep interest in financial institutions industry landscape: market and competitive environment, regulatory developments, technology trends
- Background in Agile / SAFe procedures and build and test lifecycle
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a high degree of comfort in client facing roles.
