The Role: Specialist, Business Intelligence and Finance
The Grade: Grade 9
The T eam: The FP&A team consists of US and UK based employees and predominantly have a focus on e xpenses and consolidation . This position will report into the Associate Director who is based in London.
The Impact: This position will help drive the development of Tableau and Anaplan dashboards which is important to meet digital finance goals. This role will be key in s upport ing the ongoing maintenance and build-out of dashboards. T he resource will play a key role in assisting with the conversion of reports and tracking the overall project requirements/deliverables within the Ratings Finance team.
Responsibilities:
Assist in development work for Tableau dashboards
Anaplan – Support the build out of Anaplan UX
Perform monthly maintenance and oversight of developed dashboards to ensure proper functionality
Assist conversion of regular PowerPoint reports to Tableau
Assist preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on Smartview (preparation, tie-out, review,
support file maintenance)
Assist with investigating/addressing exceptions identified in data outputs
Assist with Smartview r epor t buildout
Minimum skills:
Extensive experience with Tableau to mine, transform and visualize data.
Ability to take lead in BI projects and pro-actively suggest innovative solutions.
Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Finance background /experience desirable including an understanding of finance processes.
D ata analytical tool skills such as Alteryx desirable .
