About Our Client

Our Client is a leading, corporate advisory firm that provides a broad range of corporate finance advice to listed and private companies operating in India.

The focus of their work is to support its clients through the company growth cycle: from assisting with strategy and raising private capital to advising on IPOs, mergers and acquisitions and raising public capital.

They enjoy long-standing relationships and strategic partnerships with a number of public and private companies across India.

Deal flow across the firm remains significant, and they are now looking to hire an AVPs into the team based in Mumbai Bangalore.
About The Role

This role will be to work closely with the senior executives in the firm across both advisory work for private companies and the provision of advice to public companies.

The role will be heavily deal-execution focused and project management driven, with a large emphasis on client engagement and working closely with boards, CEOs, and CFOs of public company clients and with founders and the management teams of private companies.
Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Transaction management; with a focus on execution and coordination of other client advisors


• Due diligence; including managing data rooms and due diligence reviews


• Financial Modeling; build and review financial models, projections and sensitivity analyses with the support of a team of analysts

• Presentations; preparation of client management presentations for company sales and capital raising


• Research; conduct research and financial analysis in support of MA, JVs, investments and capital raisings

The ideal candidate will have gained between 6-8 years' experience in corporate advisory / transaction services from either an investment bank, independent advisory firm or top tier CA firm. Candidates will have a strong academic track record, ideally an MBA or CA, will have exceptional presentation, communication and project management skills and will be eager to work in a deal driven environment as part of a small team.

Sector focus: Consumer tech, Fin tech, Enterprise products, Edu tech, Logi tech, E-commerce, and any new age technology companies

Whilst sector experience is not imperative, candidates should display an interest in the sector and be career driven and enthusiastic to learn.
