WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an enterprising individual who has a knack for garment construction and understanding of patterns at ???? / SAADAA.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Take ownership of the product lifecycle, from design to production.
• Responsible for managing the design process from concept to completion while ensuring alignment on priorities and direction
• Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs
• Create and present design boards for all categories showcasing silhouette, fabric, pattern, and color range
  
• Manage the product lineup and ensure timelines are met for production.
• Create detailed tech packs and specs for coordination with vendors
• Works with vendors for development sampling and initial costs
• Manages counter costing; handles samples; tracks fit approvals; tracks lab dips; and follows up with vendor on system updates
• Manages wear-test samples and tailoring samples
• Ensures Systems are updated with costs and details
• Resolve any quality issues with the garments received from the suppliers.
• Conduct vendor audits to ensure quality standards are being met
• Attend fittings to ensure the product is on the calendar and within cost parameters, and solve problems when needed
• Works closely with production partners to ensure design packages are complete and accurate.
• To make sure that all quality standards are followed on the production floor with the help of the quality team.
• Supervising the entire quality analysis team.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelors Diploma / Degree in Fashion Technology or engineering in textile technology
• Exceptional understanding of Fabric & Fabric processing
• Technical understanding of pattern and fit development of garments
• Proven working experience in merchandising and product development
• Merchandise Sourcing Knowledge Experience in sample development and with offshore production exposure; in large-sized buying offices or Export House
• Knowledge of advanced Excel
• Understanding of product lifecycle management tools like WFX, Apparel magic, etc.
