About the Role:

Sagenext Infotech is hiring a skilled Server Support Engineer who brings strong

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• Manage virtualization platforms: Microsoft Hyper-V
• Use Veeam Backup & Replication for backup and recovery of VMware, Hyper-V, and physical servers
• Perform regular system updates, patching, and backups
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows VM, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN,RDP and firewall systems.
• Ensure network security, compliance, and system uptime
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell

• Monitor server health using tools like: Nagios
• Use Veeam Backup & Replication for backup and recovery of VMware, Hyper-V, and physical servers.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
• Document root causes and implement preventive solutions
• Guide and mentor junior support engineers
• Coordinate team efforts during server rollouts, upgrades, or issue resolution
• Conduct technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions within the team

Preferred Experience:

• Monitoring Tools: Nagios
• Backup Tools: Veeam
• Leadership Exposure: Prior experience in leading or mentoring technical support teams
