Job Description
- You are an experienced Unity Developer with a strong expertise in VR/XR development and Web AR/VR technologies. You will be working on exciting projects that involve Virtual Reality training modules and Web-based Augmented Reality experiences. If you are passionate about immersive technology and can create cutting-edge solutions across different platforms, we would love to hear from you!
Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing VR/XR applications using Unity3D for platforms like Meta Quest, HTC Vive, and HoloLens. You will also build Web AR/VR experiences using tools such as WebXR API, Three.js, and A-Frame. Collaboration with 3D artists and designers is essential to ensure high-quality visuals and seamless interactivity in VR/AR environments. Implementing UI/UX elements for both VR and Web-based projects, ensuring responsive design and smooth user experience will be part of your role. You will also optimize 3D models, shaders, and assets for performance and scalability on various devices, including mobile and web browsers. Handling cross-platform deployment (Windows, Android, iOS, WebGL) and testing, utilizing GitHub for version control and collaboration with the team, and deploying and managing builds via Unity Cloud for remote testing and continuous integration are crucial tasks. Integration of backend services and APIs (e.g., for user authentication, multiplayer interactions, and reporting) where necessary will be required. You will also troubleshoot and fix bugs, ensuring stability and performance of the deployed applications, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in VR/XR, WebAR, and emerging technologies.
To qualify for this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience in Unity development with a strong portfolio of VR/XR applications. Proficiency in C# scripting and working with Unity XR Toolkit is essential. Strong experience with Web AR/VR technologies, including WebXR API, Three.js, A-Frame, or Babylon.js, is required. Hands-on experience with VR SDKs (Meta Oculus SDK, OpenXR, ARCore, ARKit), proficiency in using GitHub for version control and team collaboration, and experience with Unity Cloud Build for remote testing and build management are necessary. Understanding of 3D asset optimization and shader programming (Shader Graph, HLSL), familiarity with cross-platform development and WebGL, knowledge of UI/UX design principles for immersive experiences, experience with multiplayer or networked VR solutions (Photon, Mirror) are all beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment are also required.

Nice to have for this role would be experience with mobile AR development (ARKit, ARCore), familiarity with backend services (Node.js, Firebase, AWS) for Web AR/VR projects, and knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management.,
