You Will Be
The Trainee Associate Will be trained on CSL process and eventually will be responsible for R2R portions under CSL, which covers the journals, reconciliation and reporting. The role also involves close coordination with the Merch AP, Consignment Team, Inventory Team /DC and Onshore to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
What You Will Do

• Process inventory and gross profit (GP) accounting entries in compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
• Prepare and post Cost Stock Ledger (CSL) entries and journal entries to the sub-ledger and general ledger.
• Regularly review and reconcile the CSL sub-ledger with the general ledger.
• Prepare various control check reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of the CSL sub-ledger during the month-end closing process.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to support internal and external audits.
• Prepare and sign off on general ledger account reconciliations on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Assist with documentation and reconciliations related to inventory and GP for annual audits.
• Prepare manual invoices and debit notes and coordinate with Accounts Payable (AP) for processing.
  

You Also Have

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience in Accounting process.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls.
• Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
