Job Description
- As a Garment Production Supervisor at Salt Studio, your role will involve independently planning and managing garment production for the firm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and scheduling production on a monthly basis
- Tracking and maintaining accurate records of worker hours, productivity, and leave schedules
- Managing and overseeing production timelines to ensure on-time garment delivery
- Addressing and resolving production issues promptly, such as defects, delays, or resource shortages
- Inspecting and approving all incoming fabrics and materials to ensure they meet quality standards before production begins
- Overseeing final quality checks on finished garments before packing
- Ensuring timely purchase of fabrics, trims, stitching materials, and accessories needed for production
- Identifying and building strong relationships with fabric suppliers, accessory vendors, and other resource partners
- Maintaining up-to-date records of fabric stock, dyeing batches, accessories and trims inventory, and finished garments (including barcoding, tagging, and product photos)
- Managing and coordinating the production team, including pattern makers, tailors, embroiderers, and other personnel
- Ensuring finished garments are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment or retail display

- Diploma/degree in apparel manufacturing or fashion management
- 2-3 years of experience, preferably in garment production with a design house
- Experience in managing pattern making, embroidery work, and stitching
- Ability to converse in Hindi
- Knowledge of Excel is mandatory
Salt Studio offers office timings from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. This is a full-time position based on-site.,
