- Saltmine, a fast-growing tech firm in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) sector, is revolutionizing the $300B workspace design-build market by leveraging modern technology. Our unique SaaS platform is designed to streamline the office design process, from workplace strategy to design and procurement, empowering occupiers and their partners to create inspiring and efficient spaces.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
- **Building and Platformizing:** You will work on the development and platformization of our SaaS product, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- **Product-Oriented Development:** Collaborate closely with product managers to translate product vision into reality, driving engineering-led initiatives aligned with business goals.
- **Engineering Initiatives:** Take the lead in initiating and driving engineering projects that enhance platform capabilities and performance, identifying opportunities for technological advancements and process improvements.
- **Experience with Microservices:** Design, develop, and maintain a microservices architecture to ensure modularity and flexibility of the platform.
- **Collaborative Problem-Solving:** Work cross-functionally with designers, architects, and stakeholders to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
- **Documentation and Standards:** Ensure comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Promote adherence to coding standards and conduct code reviews to uphold code quality.
- **Technical Expertise:** Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, contributing new ideas to keep our platform at the forefront.
**Qualifications Required:**
- An Engineering degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
- 8+ years of experience as a full stack developer, preferably on a SaaS platform.
- At least 2+ years in a relevant position.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript.

- Experience with React, NodeJS, Express (NestJS and Material Tailwind is a plus).
- Familiarity with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in Unit, API, and E2E tests.
- Experience working on complex larger codebases and optimizing queries.
- Familiarity with cloud services (preferably AWS).
- Experience with containerization, CI/CD (ideally Docker, K8S, Jenkins).
- Strong learning agility, product-focused mindset, sense of responsibility, and ownership towards your work.,
