SambaNova is hiring a Principal Software Engineerfor Sambanova SambaStudio & other upcoming products.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Pay extra attention to non-functional requirements (Performance, Scalability, Reliability, High Availability)
• 
  Partner with leaders from architecture, engineering management, & product management on project requirements, designs, & development plans
• Keep product quality top of mind by creating automated tests for the software that you help create & helping in code reviews.
• Work in an Agile environment & follow scrum practices to deliver high quality software in a timely manner.
• Achieve a deep knowledge of our product architecture, usage patterns, & real-world deployment scenarios to develop an understanding of which solutions will bring value to our customers.
• Contribute to and improve existing systems with architectural and technological decisions for the team.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering and technology architecture with a demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient systems to support software development and deployment
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Experience building enterprise-grade software with Python, Go, or other modern programming languages
• Strong technical acumen with Kubernetes and hands on experience with deploying and managing services on clusters using tools like Helm and ArgoCD

Additional Required Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying robust and secure web APIs and microservices
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior members

  Proven startup experience in scaling and supporting engineering teams, with the ability to lead by example and foster a high-performance culture

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of distributed systems. Solid understanding of fundamental CI/CD,
• DevOps or MLOps development experience will be a plus.
• Security hardening will be a plus.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with related services and tools.
• Experience in ReactJS will be a plus.
