Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or hold a similar financial qualification, with experienced in Fund Accounting and a thorough understanding of UAE VAT regulations. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the financial reporting process with a focus on fund accounting, ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with established accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including timely and accurate tax returns.
• Perform fund account reconciliations and provide in-depth financial analysis.
• Review and submit VAT returns in accordance with local tax laws.
• Support the audit process by working closely with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit cycle.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or any other related field CPA, CMA, CA, ACCA certification is a must
• Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5-10 years in a senior role, 35 y.o. and above
• Experience in Fund Accounting (preferred)
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance
• Demonstrated experience in preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting
• Proficient in Tally and advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
