Job Description

    You will be responsible for Sales and Business Development at SARI Agritech, an Agritech company dedicated to providing innovative solutions for modern agriculture. Your role will involve identifying and approaching potential customers, primarily farmers and agricultural dealers, to convert leads into sales by effectively communicating the value of our high-quality agricultural equipment. Through field-based engagement, you will empower farmers with advanced technology to enhance crop yields and optimize farming practices.
    Additionally, you will conduct live demonstrations of sprayers at farms, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase their functionality and crop-specific benefits. This will help build confidence among potential customers and drive interest in our products. Building strong relationships with farmers, influencers, and local dealers is crucial, and you will be expected to consistently generate leads through referrals, field visits, and interactions within the agricultural community.
    Market research and gathering customer insights will also be part of your responsibilities. By collecting field-level feedback, monitoring competitor activities, and staying informed about agri-industry trends, you will contribute to refining sales strategies and enhancing the fit of our products in the market.

    To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors, Masters degree, or Diploma in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales role within the agriculture sector, preferably involving farm equipment or agricultural inputs, is required. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to establish rapport with farmers and stakeholders. Knowledge of key agricultural practices, fluency in Marathi and Hindi, and a hands-on technical understanding are also necessary. Basic familiarity with MS Office and CRM systems is preferred.
    Furthermore, you should be willing to travel extensively within assigned territories to connect with farmers and distributors, further strengthening relationships and driving sales growth.,
