Role Overview:
As the Zonal Sales Head for West India, you will serve as the primary architect of our commercial success across one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the country. Based in Mumbai, you will spearhead the entire sales ecosystem, overseeing General Trade operations, distribution networks, and channel partnerships to drive aggressive top-line and bottom-line growth. You will work closely with regional sales managers, supply chain leads, and senior leadership to translate corporate vision into actionable field strategies. Your impact will be measured by your ability to scale market share, optimize distribution efficiency, and cultivate a high-performance culture that consistently exceeds business targets in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the West zone to ensure sustained revenue growth and market penetration across all product categories.
- Manage the full P&L for the region, ensuring optimal resource allocation, cost control, and profitability across diverse sales channels.
- Lead and mentor a large, multi-layered sales organization, fostering talent development and driving accountability to achieve organizational excellence.
- Oversee the expansion and optimization of the distribution network to ensure superior product availability and visibility in General Trade outlets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and finance to align sales operations with broader business objectives and customer requirements.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales planning and pivot strategies in real-time to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex FMCG sales operations with a proven track record of scaling businesses in highly competitive markets.

- Post-graduate degree in Management from a premier institute is highly preferred, reflecting a strong foundation in business strategy and commercial operations.
