Job Title: Corporate and Plant Purchase Head

Experience: 15-25 years in procurement/purchase management

Age Requirement: 35-48 years

Industry: Mandatory Manufacturing background (no services companies)

Compensation: 40L - 50L per annum

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Procurement Management: Oversee all purchasing activities for both corporate, Project and plant locations, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance.

- Strategic Vendor Relations: Build long-term partnerships with reliable suppliers and negotiate beneficial contracts.

- Software Proficiency: Utilize procurement tools/software for accurate record-keeping and streamlined purchase processes (e.g., SAP Ariba, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Procurement Cloud).

- Cost Optimization: Develop strategies to minimize procurement costs while ensuring quality standards.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team across corporate and plant settings for operational excellence.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in purchasing activities.

- Reporting: Prepare detailed procurement reports and analysis for senior management.

Required Skills and Attributes:

- Expertise in procurement software and tools.

- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

- Proven leadership skills to manage a multi-location procurement team.

- Knowledge of manufacturing procurement processes and industry standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

- MBA or relevant certifications like CPSM/CPP preferred.

Additional Preferences:

- Candidates with prior experience in large-scale manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.

- Familiarity with international procurement regulations is a bonus.
