Introduction:

As a Senior Automation Tester

• Core responsibility is to lead the functional testing plan as defined by the Test Manager with minimal supervision.


• Understand and manage the Functional aspect of the project, conducting review of functionality being tested and confirming test coverage.


• Work very closely with the test manager to deliver robust test harnesses to meet complex testing needs of various projects.


• Responsible for creating and maintaining automated GUI and backend test cases.


• Execute the automated packs and provide consolidated feedback to the lead on a regular basis

What will you be doing?

Relevant Experience 6 to 8 years

Time Split: 80% Project Delivery, 20% Non-Core Delivery

• To act as a SIT test Lead


• Participate in Test Planning and defining test approaches for various project deliveries


• To provide first level of IA and Provide view on Estimates


• Responsible for handling automation tasks of key E2E business scenarios and for delivering scripts according to project timelines in line with the Automation Teams quality standards.
  


• Engage and Govern the NFT, UAT, LCT teams and track progress to plan


• Handholding and mentoring BA3’s, new SI team members


• Execution of the existing CIT and SIT Automated regression packs and consolidated feedback to the lead on a regular basis.


• Proactively take up additional deliveries / tasks


• Works with the BA3/ BA4 / AVP to deliver the assigned tasks.


• Identify the test cases for Regression and keep Regression pack optimized and automated


• Accountable for building and maintenance of requirement Traceability Matrix


• Own delivery and sign off of the Test Strategy, Test Plan, Approach and TCM and ensure the periodical updates are provided such as DSR, WSR, KPI.


• Should have Agile delivery knowledge


• Own the reusable test cases creation.


• Own and carry out test execution.


• Own and drive the Domain knowledge within the team


• Liaise and engage landscape teams for e2e tests and other support teams


• Very good at Stakeholder management


• Participate in the initiatives impacting Testing


• Participate in the initiatives impacting wider teams

What we’re looking for:

• Must have 6-8 years of experience in Functional Testing with Automation in Java/Selenium.


• Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches


• Good SQL and ETL Skills


• Extensive domain knowledge Banking and Payments. Understanding to Swift MT messages and ISO 20022 formats like Pain, Pacs and Camt messages

Skills that will help you in the role

• Understanding of CI / CD and DevOps methodologies


• Exposure to Payments Engine like GPP and Masspay.


• Exposure and understanding to Payments landscape and middleware applications.


• Exposure to Service Virtualisation using tools like GHT, CA Lisa and custom Java framework
