Position description:

• Has seasoned knowledge of relevant industries, sectors, and securities


• Applies editorial concepts to develop, manage and/or produce more complex content


• Generates content and contributes to special features


• Contributes to the resolution of complex quantitative or qualitative research issues; takes a new perspective on existing solutions


• Works within own team and interacts with other related teams


• Communicates with internal & external clients and/or issuers as necessary


• Impacts the quality of research and effectiveness of own team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conducts quantitative and qualitative research of trends in specific industry groups, companies, and/or security type


• Analyzes data and creates, updates, and maintains financial models to assist in formulating opinions or findings on securities


• Publishes written research and strategy reports that summarize analysis findings including estimates of expected current year business results


• Produces collateral material to illustrate Research offerings to clients and prospective clients


• Manages development of materials regarding industry, company, or security trend analysis findings for internal or external presentation


• Will also share findings via multiple media outlets


• Stays up to date on current Compliance policies and adheres to all Compliance, Research objectivity, COBE, Firewall and other policies and procedures


• Will also be required to update and maintain appropriate supporting documents in the applicable Research Information Management System in place


• Maintains research records management


• Where applicable, will develop recommendations on the purchase, sale, or holding of individual companies and their securities
