Rebar Checker & Detailer

We are looking for a skilled Rebar Checker & Detailer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed rebar drawings and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of rebar detailing and checking processes.

As a Rebar Detailer & Checker, you will prepare detailed reinforcement drawings, verify the accuracy of rebar layouts, and ensure they meet structural requirements and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to support successful project execution.

A thorough knowledge of ACI (American Concrete Institute) codes is essential, along with proficiency in industry-standard software such as RebarCAD and CADS RC. Your expertise will ensure that the rebar detailing meets both design and practical construction needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed rebar drawings and reinforcement layouts according to project specifications.
• Check and verify rebar detailing for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with ACI codes.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to resolve detailing issues.
• Review and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain and update documentation related to rebar detailing and checking.
  
• Utilize RebarCAD and CADS RC software to produce and check detailed drawings.
• Assist in optimizing rebar layouts for cost-efficiency and constructability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in rebar detailing and checking.
• Strong knowledge of ACI codes and reinforcement detailing standards.
• Proficient in RebarCAD and CADS RC software
