About the Role

We are seeking a Cost Accountant to work across the groups diverse verticals to help establish robust costing systems, project margin tracking, and financial reporting frameworks. This is a foundational finance role that supports leadership in pricing, profitability analysis, and ERP readiness.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain job-wise and vertical-wise cost sheets
• Track material, labor, transport, and overheads per project
• Allocate shared costs across business verticals
• Create standard cost templates and monitor budget vs. actual
• Coordinate with operations and logistics to validate cost data
• Support ERP implementation for costing modules
• Prepare monthly cost reports for leadership
  

Qualifications

• CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) preferred
• 36 years in cost accounting, preferably in infra, construction, or rentals
• ERP exposure (Tally Prime) is a plus

Required Skills

• Strong grasp of cost accounting principles
• Experience in project-based or rental-driven businesses
• Advanced Excel and cost reporting skills
• Understanding of logistics, inventory, and shared cost allocation
• Hands-on, self-starter with systems-building mindset
