About the Role:
- The Head Performance Management System (PMS) will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Masters Unions performance management framework. This role will be responsible for building a structured, transparent, and data-driven performance culture aligned with the institutions growth strategy and organizational goals.
- Working closely with senior leadership, HR Business Partners, and functional heads, the role will ensure that performance expectations are clearly defined, progress is consistently tracked, and outcomes are aligned with compensation, promotions, and long-term talent development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and operational execution to drive a culture of accountability and meritocracy across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Performance Framework Design:
- Design and implement an enterprise-wide Performance Management System aligned with organizational strategy and growth priorities.
- Establish structured goal-setting frameworks such as OKRs and KPIs across departments.
- Ensure alignment between individual objectives, departmental goals, and overall institutional priorities.
Performance Review & Evaluation:
- Lead review processes including calibration sessions to ensure fair and consistent evaluation standards.
- Develop clear guidelines and frameworks for performance assessment across teams.
Leadership & Manager Enablement:
- Train and support managers in setting effective goals, delivering constructive feedback, and conducting meaningful performance conversations.
- Enable leadership teams to effectively track team performance and drive accountability.
- Provide strategic guidance on performance improvement and talent development.
Integration with Talent Strategy:
- Align performance outcomes with compensation planning, promotions, and succession planning frameworks.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure performance insights inform talent and workforce decisions.
- Support leadership in identifying high-potential talent and development opportunities.
Systems, Analytics & Insights:
- Implement and manage PMS tools or HRIS modules to enable automation, tracking, and reporting.
- Track key performance metrics and generate insights for leadership decision-making.
- Continuously evaluate and refine performance frameworks based on data and organizational needs.
Requirements

Experience:
- 8 - 12 years of experience in Human Resources with strong exposure to Performance Management.
- Demonstrated experience designing and scaling PMS frameworks in high-growth organizations.
Core Skills:
- Strong expertise in OKRs, KPIs, and performance analytics.
- Experience implementing structured performance review cycles and organizational goal-setting frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working closely with leadership teams.
