Key Responsibilities:

? Design, implement, and maintain a scalable API automation framework for comprehensive

testing of API endpoints across various supply chain applications.

? Define and implement test strategies, plans, and execution for API automation, ensuring

alignment with business goals and project timelines.

? Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand API

requirements, use cases, and integration points.

? Build and maintain reusable automation test suites that integrate with CI/CD pipelines and

ensure automated tests are part of the software release cycle.

? Leverage in-depth knowledge of supply chain systems (OMS, WMS, TMS) to understand

workflows and perform relevant testing across system integrations.

? Track, report, and validate defects found during testing and drive them to resolution with

cross-functional teams.

? Ensure the scalability and reliability of APIs by developing performance and load testing

scenarios.

? Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and KPIs are monitored and reported regularly, using

tools like JIRA or similar.

? Mentor and lead junior team members, ensure adherence to best practices, and foster

continuous improvement within the QA team.

? Stay updated with the latest tools and best practices in API automation, continuously

improving test scripts, frameworks, and processes.

? Engage with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting quality plans, test results, and

progress reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

? Experience: 8-12 years of overall experience in QA, with 6+ years specifically in API

automation.

? Automation Tools: Expertise in tools like Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, and similar API

testing tools.

? Frameworks: Strong experience in building automation frameworks using Java, Python, or

similar languages.

? CI/CD Integration: Experience in integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines

(Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

? Supply Chain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes (Order Management,

Warehouse Management, Transportation Management) and relevant ERP systems.

? Version Control: Proficient in version control systems like Git.

? Defect Tracking Tools: Experience with JIRA, Bugzilla, or other defect tracking and project

management tools.

? Leadership: Proven experience in leading QA teams, mentoring junior QA engineers, and

driving automation initiatives.

? Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

? Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with

technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

? Experience with supply chain systems like Sterling OMS, Manhattan WMS, or other relevant

supply chain applications.

? Knowledge of cloud-based systems and microservices architecture.

? ISTQB or other relevant certification in QA or automation.

? Experience in performance testing using tools like Gatling, JMeter, NeoLoad etc.
