The Operations Lead Technical Reporting will be part of the VP TAO organization

The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization. Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell’s Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes.

HPIM & EC Team Lead :

• Able to deliver business through the team in the required Timeline.


• Ensure that the HPIM And EC Support Team in Chennai works efficiently and closely with all PPB Components and Assets focal points in different areas, including but not limited to data handling in Energy Components, Data Quality checks, Deferment reports. (eg, Integrated Loss Management)

Skills & Requirements

Review attached and amend / add as required for TAO JD (those shown in bold should always remain)

• Minimum 6+ years of direct Industry experience in Oil Production, TIETO Energy Components or Similar Oil accounting tools.




• Specific experience working with Oil & Gas Industry is required.


• Strong analytical skill, organizational skills and attention to details.


• Education/Experience: Excellent track record of work domain with a University Degree in Engineering (any) or certification in Business Reporting, MIS.


• Experience in designing and communicating MI (reports) for all operational and financial activities.


• Awareness on End to End Business knowledge from Organizational perspective.




• Awareness in data visualization tools (Spotfire)




• Knowledge level in data cleansing and migration techniques


• Experience in Production Information systems and Data


• Candidate should have a good understanding of Upstream Business. He/she should understand who is using the data (Production Operations, HCA, WRFM, finance etc) and how to interpret the data (appraisal, weekly reports)


• Excellent communication skills is required in both Written & Verbal form.




• - Expert Level experience in working with MS Office tools precisely - Excel, Access, PPT.




• Excellent presentation skills with understanding on Business conversations and priorities
