Job Description

Role Overview
This is a business-building role, not an account management role. You will be the end-to-end P&L owner of Shiprocket's Ads Agency business and responsible for scaling revenue, profitability, performance outcomes, and strategic ecosystem leverage. You will build the growth engine that powers India's D2C ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue & Scale - Drive new revenue acquisition across Shiprocket's D2C merchant base. Expand wallet share from existing merchants. Build scalable sales motion (inside sales + strategic accounts). Define pricing, packaging & GTM strategy
2. P&L & Profitability - Own Contribution Margin & EBITDA. Design cost structure (media buying ops, creative, tech stack). Improve blended ROAS while protecting margins. Create operating dashboards for weekly business tracking.
3. Client Performance Outcomes -

Ensure measurable impact on: ROAS, CAC, Revenue scale, Retention. Build structured performance frameworks across verticals. Drive case-study-led credibility in D2C ecosystem
4. Retention & Expansion - Improve merchant lifetime value. Reduce churn. Build expansion playbooks (cross-sell, upsell). Integrate Ads Agency tightly with the Checkout & Fulfilment ecosystem
5. Strategic Partnerships - Own senior-level relationships with: Meta, Google, Key ecosystem partners. Negotiate incentives, co-marketing, beta access. Leverage partner programs for margin expansion
6.Team Build-Out & Operating Model - Build performance pods (vertical-led / category-led)
Hire & mentor performance marketers. Create incentive structures aligned to margin & client outcomes. Implement SOPs for campaign execution, reporting & QA
