Are you ready to take your career to the next level? SHL are seeking an experienced and motivated Management Accountant to join our Financial Control - Cost Team. In this crucial role, you will aid the Financial Controller - Costs with all aspects of cost accounting preparation and control, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of month-end and year-end costs and the associated Balance Sheet. You will collaborate closely with the FP&A team and other business stakeholders, contributing to our financial health and operational success.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support period end recording and reporting of costs in compliance with SHLs policies, relevant accounting standards and other applicable regulations in line with published timetable for all business units
• Prepare relevant balance sheet reconciliations accurately, completely and in line with agreed timetable
• Support Financial Controller – Costs in maintaining a strong financial control environment with appropriate processes and compliance for all cost streams
• Support the group team in all relevant aspects of the group and local audits to ensure timely audit completion and submission of financial statements
• Support Financial Controller – Costs in preparing monthly cost analysis and answer to queries from the business and other areas of Finance
  

Essential

What we are looking for from you:

• Previous cost experience in a finance controllership team
• IFRS Experience
• Experience preparing cost analysis and other month end reports
  

Desirable

• Experience preparing and posting journals
• Flexibility to work EMEA and US hours as needed each month.
