Technical Architect

Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
As Technical Consultants Cloud/AI at Siemens, you will play a key role in guiding customers and internal teams on secure, compliant, and resilient solutions within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio. We focus on designing and implementing robust cloud and AI architectures that protect customer data, ensure ethical AI practices, and maintain trust in Siemens digital offerings. We collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver technical expertise, drive standard methodologies, and support the successful deployment and operation of SaaS and AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop and build AI solutions end to end!
Architect, prototype, and deliver innovative AI tools and micro services that address concrete enterprise use cases, ensuring detailed integration with existing platforms and environments (e.g., config drift comparison across prod/UAT/dev, license insight services) as detailed in the CApS AI workstream.
Embed Responsible AI by design
Establish, implement, and champion standards for bias and fairness checks, data quality, inclusivity, explainability (e.g., model cards), and human centered safeguards throughout the lifecycle. Guide and influence teams on tradeoffs between performance and transparency.
Harden security and ensure compliance
Implement, strengthen, and supervise secure identity, data protection, and governance controls for AI workloads (model endpoints, secret/key management, auditability), aligning with corporate policies and driving cloud security standard methodologies.
Operationalize with robust MLOps
Set up, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for models and services, streamline evaluation and monitoring, detect configuration/model drift across environments, and establish runtime observability for reliability and scale!
Consult, collaborate, and drive adoption!
Translate business and technical requirements into actionable solutions, lead demos and proofs of value, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teamsfully aligned with Solution Consultant proficiencies.
DevOps / MLOps
CI/CD pipelines: Build and maintain automated pipelines (GitLab/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps) for AI services and model artifacts, including unit/integration tests and quality gates.
Infrastructure as Code: Provision and handle cloud resources with Terraform/ARM/CloudFormation; implement environment parity across dev/test/stage/prod.
Observability & reliability: Configure logging, metrics, and tracing and set SLOs/SLIs; drive incident response and post mortems.
Required Qualifications-
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field.
Overall 5+ years experience, 2+ years of experience in AI, Cloud technologies
Demonstrable understanding of -
Generative AI: Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain, Llama-Index
Data Handling: Pandas, NumPy
Visualization: Matplotlib, Seaborn
Cloud services: AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI Service, GCP Vertex AI
Superb communication and collaborator leadership skills.
