Your new role will be both challenging and future-oriented. As a part of the Services team in the Large Steam Turbine business, you will serve as the Site Lead responsible for overseeing the execution of service outages for steam turbines. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring that outages are carried out safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will also be tasked with managing and supervising vendors on-site during outage execution, as well as liaising with customers to plan and execute outages while providing regular updates and reports. Additionally, you will engage with customers to promote Siemens products effectively.
To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) with 12-15 years of experience or a Diploma with 18-20 years of experience in Steam Powerplants. You must have at least 5-8 years of experience in leading teams during steam turbine outages and possess a strong technical understanding of steam turbines from KWU/LMZ/BHEL manufacturers. Flexibility in working hours, including shifts, and willingness to travel to various Powerplant sites in India and abroad are essential. Proficiency in computer skills and excellent communication abilities with customers and vendors are also required.
