This role requires the applicant to provide support to EMEA clients, managing collections and account related queries while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Collections Specialist to manage client collections, broker receivables, and other outstanding payments. The role requires consistent follow-ups, thorough documentation, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely collections and minimize past-due balances. This position will also serve as a key point of contact for clients across multiple locations, ensuring seamless communication and resolution of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Collections
  • Ensure receivables are less than 5% overdue beyond 30 days.
  • Focus on collecting larger balances and preventing accounts from aging.
  • Provide monthly statements of all open invoices to clients and Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with the Billing Team to resolve client disputes or adjustments.
  • Work closely with the Cash Posting team to ensure accurate remittance details.
  • Monitor daily cash reports for client payments and outstanding amounts.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Client Finance, and Operations to improve past-due collections.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to management and document all updates in the Collections management system.
Other Receivables Management
  • Follow up on broker receivables and other miscellaneous outstanding invoices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate payment resolution.
  • Communicate with the Legal team if collection efforts stall, after management approval.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other assigned duties and act as a backup for team members when needed.
  • Provide support to the team by answering questions and guiding issue resolution.
  • Participate in team improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
Assignee Receivables & Reporting
  • Facilitate communication regarding assignee receivables with Operations teams.
  • Provide weekly status updates to management, tracking collections progress and performance.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Collections or related role.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level required).
  • Financial/Accounting knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in training and providing constructive feedback is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required (or equivalent work experience).
