JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager – FP&A
- Purpose – The key responsibilities in delivering the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis process for Industrial Business within SKF India Limited. The person is expected to closely work with business Heads across various segments, HR, finance, procurement, service teams, FP&A Lead and overall controller for business to drive business growth and results.
- Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for month end responsibilities, i.e., Prepare Journals and do accounting activities for Industrial business, Sales reconciliation at segment level with Financials.
- Responsible for preparing Service P&L (REP, Solution Factories, Re-man, Other Services) and monitoring Service PL profitability. Provide Customer Level profitability for large Services Contracts.
- Be Finance POC for Service, Metals and Heavy Industries Business. Responsible for monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators for each segment.
- Responsible for delivering various management reports – segment wise, customer and product line profitability reports.
- Responsible for preparing reports for Annual financial planning and budgeting work.
- Responsible for Sales Incentive Plan for Industrial Business. Calculate sales incentives of the business and ensure proper accounting and timely pay-out.
- Responsible for monitoring and reviewing S&A expenses. Recommending actions to minimize S&A Cost.
- Prepare reports which indicates Key Performance Indicators for each segment.
- Prepare variance analysis and MIS reports for various segments.
- Responsible for updating customer master and key data in line with updated structural changes
- Provide Support on all External and Internal Audit.
- Competencies
- Should have strong financial knowledge
- Strong MS Excel, Power Point, Power BI
- Should have good communication skills to be able to work with colleagues and business stakeholders and larger finance organization.
- Should be able to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities and deliver work as per the expected timeline.
- Should have high attention to detail and quality of work getting delivered
- Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant, MBA for a reputed institute – (Newly Qualified or 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis and management reporting.
- Good understanding of finance systems/ERP. Experience in EPM, Power BI, and Sara light will be of added advantage
- The candidate should have a mindset of working in fast paced, energetic and high business growth organization.
- Independent working abilities and good collaboration skills with cross functional teams
