Westernwear Fashion Designer

Role & Responsibilities

• Overseesampling, fittings, and creative garment development(not production supervision)
• Design and develop modern Westernwear for women including dresses, co-ords, jumpsuits, tops, and skirts
• Research fashion trends and translate them into seasonal collections
• Create mood boards, color palettes, and trend forecasts
• Work closely with pattern makers, sampling, and production teams
  
• Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments
• Ensure high-quality finishing, garment fitting, and detailing
• Participate in range planning and brand storytelling
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2 to 7+ years of experience in Western or Indo-Western womens wear
• Strong understanding of silhouettes, draping, and construction
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW
• Passion for contemporary aesthetics and detailing
