Sr Data Analyst

Cyient is looking for highly skilled Data Analyst in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, data management, and visualization. Additionally, you should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications skills and should be able to work with diverse teams in different global locations.

Responsibilities:

Data analytics

• Responsible for data mining, maintaining data systems/databases, statistical analysis to interpret data, and data presentation as per business requirements.


• Building data models to solve business problems and able to extract valuable business insights from data


• Devolping automation tools, techniques and custom dashboards for insights and data visualization


• Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible across data sets


• Contributing to the design of robust systems with long-term maintenance and support of the developed applications



• Transforming complex analytical models to tailor made solutions


• Increase efficiency and improve performance by discovering patterns in data


• Evaluating internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data


• Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process


• Guiding and providing necessary trainings to team members

Competencies:

• Familiar with visualization tools like Qlikview, Power BI and Tableau
  


• Expertise in database like MS access, SQL, MySQL and NoSQL
  


• Good knowledge on data scraping tools like Python and R
  


• Ability to identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets


• Developing softwares, macros and automation of processes
