Retail Business Development Leader

Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Retail Business Development leader to drive Pan-India expansion across COCO and Franchisee (FOCO) formats. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in retail expansion, franchise management, and luxury/jewellery retail, and a proven track record of scaling businesses across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Expansion :
- Lead and execute Pan-India retail expansion plans (COCO & Franchisee)
- Identify high-potential markets, cities, and store locations
- Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and ROI assessments

Franchisee Development & Management :
- Build and manage strong relationships with franchise partners
- Oversee franchisee onboarding, training, and compliance
- Ensure brand standards and superior customer experience
Business Development :
- Negotiate property acquisitions, leases, and franchise agreements
- Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, HR, and other teams for smooth store launches and operations
Operational Excellence :
- Define KPIs for store performance and expansion milestones
- Ensure profitability and long-term sustainability of franchisee stores
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 8+ years in retail business development
- Background: Jewellery, luxury, or lifestyle retail preferred
- Expertise: Franchise operations, retail expansion, multi-location management
