Role OverviewThe Business Development Manager B2C (SLBS) will be responsible for driving individual customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand penetration by selling Marklances learning solutions directly to students, parents, and working professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Drive B2C sales through leads generated via marketing, digital campaigns, and referrals
- Counsel students, parents, and learners on suitable courses and learning solutions
- Convert inbound and outbound leads into enrollments through calls, demos, and follow-ups
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and interactions in CRM
- Build trust-based relationships with customers to ensure high conversion and retention
- Participate in sales events, webinars, and promotional activities
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams for feedback and improvement
- Handle objections, negotiations, and closure effectively
- Bachelors degree in any discipline
- 26 years of experience in B2C sales / EdTech sales / Inside sales
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills

- Target-driven mindset with a passion for sales
- Ability to understand learner needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Comfortable with high-volume calling and follow-ups
- Experience using CRM tools
- Prior experience in EdTech, Online Courses, Test Prep, or Skill Development
- Experience handling students, parents, or working professionals
- Knowledge of sales funnels, lead management, and conversion metrics
