About the role:
We are seeking a skilled technical Product manager to lead our product and tech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development and a passion for creating innovative eCommerce solutions. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our Shopify stores and tech tools for integration with other departments , ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.
What you'll be responsible for
- Own the complete product lifecycle, from planning to execution.
- Interact, plan and lead implementation of projects/features across the systems in conjunction with the engineering team.
- Regularly interact with all the stakeholders, teams and bring in technical expertise in the organization. and to understand bottlenecks across domains, interpret those issues to technical problems and solve them.
- Increase product discoverability, ensure smooth purchase experience, enhance customer experience, including information flow, and data and access security measures for complete tech stack.
- Analyze sales, key metrics, growth on the website on a daily basis. Responsible for increasing AOV, reducing drop-offs, cross-sells and upsells to list a few.
- Tracking and improving User metrics on website time spent, bounce rate, checkouts/funnel conversion, product discoverability etc.
- Managing cost of all tech resources
- Maintaining SLAs for resolving for issues related to tech
- Management of technology at the company's Retail stores. For e.g. POS, order management system interaction.
What'll you need to bring to the table?
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience of system integrations via APIs, interacting with engineering teams, basic know-how of technical systems.
- Prior experience of working in Shopify.
- 2+ years of experience with a combination of product management, Shopify, APIs and tech integrations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge about UI/UX and development lifecycle
- Understanding of go-to-market commerce enablers (e.g. payments, order management systems, various analytics tools etc.).
