Job Description
- As a MERN Stack Developer at Smartway Technoway Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. Your responsibilities will include writing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and optimize existing live projects to ensure seamless operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements on both frontend and backend.
- Utilize React.js (with Redux & Redux-Saga) for frontend state management and UI updates.
- Manage and optimize Node.js backend services while ensuring API reliability.
- Handle MySQL database (RDS on AWS) by writing queries, optimizing performance, and managing schema changes.
- Manage AWS services such as RDS (MySQL), S3 (storage), and related services to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and other developers for smooth release cycles.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability in the existing project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer with expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MySQL/MongoDB.
- Strong proficiency in React.js with Redux and Redux-Saga for state management.
- Hands-on experience in Node.js backend and REST API development.
- Good understanding of MySQL database management, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Practical experience with AWS services like RDS, S3, and deployment workflows.

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control practices.
- Problem-solving abilities with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Capability to work independently on production support and maintenance tasks.
Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of additional AWS services such as CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, etc.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.,
