We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our team focused on beauty and fashion. As an inhouse content creator, you will play a pivotal role in creating captivating and trendsetting reels that resonate with our audience across various social media platforms. You will have the opportunity to showcase your talent, stay updated with the latest trends, and contribute to the growth of our brand’s online presence.
Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation as the Face of Social: Take initiative to create original content featuring yourself as the face of our brand on social media platforms. This includes filming beauty and fashion-related videos, sharing styling tips, showcasing product reviews, and engaging with our audience authentically & more
  • Storyboarding and Planning: Develop creative concepts and storyboards for reels that align with our brand identity and objectives.
  • Visual Editing: Edit and enhance video content to ensure it is visually appealing, cohesive, and in line with current social media trends. Video editing support will be provided by us.
  • Trend Research: Stay informed about emerging trends, viral content, and popular hashtags within the beauty and fashion community to inform content creation strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content creation with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives. Source products and requirements for the shoot.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor and engage with our social media audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analytics and Optimization: Track the performance of reels using social media analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Passion for Beauty and Fashion: A genuine interest and understanding of beauty and fashion trends, styles, and influencers.
  • Comfortable Facing Camera and Creating Content as a Model: Confidence and comfort in front of the camera, with the ability to create engaging content while showcasing products or demonstrating beauty and fashion techniques.
  • Creative Skills: keen eye for visual storytelling
  • Social Media Savvy: Active user of various social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Reels, with a strong understanding of their features, trends, and algorithms.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively and engage with our audience.

    Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Experience: Previous experience creating content for social media platforms, particularly reels or short-form video content, either professionally or as a hobby.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous work in content creation, with a focus on beauty and fashion content, is highly desirable.
  • Degree in Fashion, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field: While not mandatory, a relevant educational background can be beneficial.
