We are looking for a talented and experienced Geotechnical Engineer (H/F) to join our Engineering department at SOCOTEC UAE. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering field with a specific specialisation in Geotechnics:
Skills & Experience

• Soil investigation reports (review, analysis and recommendations)
• Special foundations for buildings and structures (Micro piles, piling, raft,…
• Shoring technics (Diaphragm wall, secant piles, spaces piles with shotcrete, Berlin wall, nailed/anchored wall…
• Creating and analysing 2D and 3D models using computer applications notably Soil/Structure interaction Plaxis 3D
• Soil improvement technics (Surface Compaction, Drainage Methods, Vibration Methods, Precompression and consolidation, Grouting and Injection. Chemical Stabilisation, Soil Reinforcement, Geo textiles and Geo membranes.)
• 
  Retaining structures (Concrete retaining walls, gabions walls, mechanically stabilized earth MSE walls…)
• Underpinning works
  

Qualifications
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum Work experience of 15 years as a Geotechnical Engineer (experience in UAE is a plus)
• Proficiency in Geotechnical engineering software such as Plaxis 3D, Geo Studio, Geo5, and Flac3D.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
• Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
