Job Description

Job Role: Business Development - Government Sales

Job Location: Chandigarh highly preferred (open to Ludhiana / Amritsar also)

Experience range: 5 to 12 years

CTC range: 6 to 10 LPA

Please Note: This role is not for freshers. We are seeking candidates with 5 to 12 years of solid experience in handling government clients. Specifically, you must have demonstrable expertise in government technical sales and tendering. The role also requires 70% travel across Rajasthan

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Business Development Executives/Managers with 5 to 12 years of proven experience in working with Government entities, particularly Municipal Corporations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Sales, Business Development, or Liaisoning, with a specific focus on managing government clients, tenders, and contract negotiations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, fostering relationships, and providing technical expertise to clients, with a strong emphasis on government deals, tender management, and municipal corporation contracts. We seek someone self-driven with a deep understanding of how to establish strong relationships with government departments, particularly municipal corporation staff. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate the value of our solutions and demonstrate how they can be a game-changer for water and sewer pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to target and acquire municipal corporation clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within municipal corporations and Government department.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to clients during the sales process.
  • Prepare tenders and deliver presentations, proposals, demonstrations tailored to municipal needs. Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape within the government sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development and liaison with Government departments is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Departmental hierarchy, functioning, procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Local language Tamil (Coimbatore) and Kannada (Bangalore) is must
  • This position involves extensive travelling to districts clients or attend industry events.
