Data Analyst - Power Bi / Tableau [T500-5120]

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Product Manager and Business Owners from multiple Business Segments to understand requirements for data capability enablement in Cloud based Unified Data Platform and convert those into user stories in Jira board
• Mapping data from primary and secondary sources to tables in Cloud based Data Lake/Warehouse
• Analyze source systems data using SQL to evaluate business needs and drive requirement work
• Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process
• Provide guidance to Testing Team on Test Cases and perform unit / system testing as required
• Maintain technical data definitions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Four-year degree in Information Systems, Finance/Mathematics, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES

• Extensive experience in understanding business requirements and converting those into technical specs for Data Engineering
• Proficient in Data Mapping and Data Model
• Expert in writing SQL and understand data principles, Business Intelligence
• Solid understanding of technical systems
• Understands big data concepts on cloud e.g. raw zone, domain layer, cloud Data Warehouse

• Working in projects of small to large size and complexity. Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple threads of Requirement works in parallel
• Comfortable working in Agile environment and effectively communicating with Product Manager and Business Users for data requirements
